In addition to heating an entire home or building, the same Maxim unit can also heat other buildings such as a garage, workshop, shed, greenhouse or barn. It can even heat a swimming pool or hot tub. Top Performance With Any Existing Heating SystemBy installing a water-to-air heat exchanger in your furnace (similar to an air conditioner coil), your entire home can be completely heated by the Maxim using the existing duct work. Your existing furnace serves as a backup.

Radiant Floor Heating System: Radiant floor heat is becoming an increasingly popular heating choice for both new construction and remodeling or additions. The system can be installed during construction in a concrete slab*, or tubes can be fastened between wood floor joists in new or existing structures. Once you have your radiant floor heating system installed, the underground pipes from the Maxim outside of the home are then connected to the radiant floor heating system. *Slab radiant installations must be well-insulated with 1" or 2" styrofoam insulation. Do not use less than 1" styrofoam (2" is best).

Radiant Baseboard (Direct Circulation): By installing a water-to-water heat exchanger, or by connecting directly into an existing boiler, the Maxim can heat an entire home with the existing baseboard or radiant heat system. Your existing boiler serves as a backup.
